2Pac Biopic Movie Is Set To Begin Production

After delays and setbacks, sources have confirmed that the long-awaited Tupac Shakur biopic is finally set to begin production. In a recent interview with one of the film's producers, Randall Emmett, new information about the production revealed the process will begin moving forward this coming June.

"That project is being put together for a June start date," said Emmett. "The script is great. We're ready to make the movie. We're just prepping the logistics and characters."

Afeni Shakur, Tupac's mother, has also cleared up all legal disputes, giving production on the film the green light to all studio rights for the use of Tupac's music in the film. Since we all know that a biopic/feature film without original music doesn't do the artist any justice; case in point, Aaliyah. Needless to say, it looks like one of the greatest rappers ever will finally get a film worthy of his legacy, and redeem the latest ill-fated Broadway musical endeavor.
